Would you like to be in a new construction home in Edmond OK by summer 2020? You can do it if you build with us.
If you start the process now, you can get into a brand new customized home by next summer. On average our homes are ready to move in within 9 months of initial consultation.
As an experienced home builder, we have developed an orderly 11-step process to take you from first meeting to closing day. We start this exciting process with a preliminary concept meeting where we find out what you have in mind for your home and what budget you are working with.
Next we help you choose the neighborhood and lot where you want to build your home. Then we help you choose a home plan and show you how you can customize it to meet your family’s specific needs and tastes. Once you sign a purchase agreement and put down your deposit, we’ll work with you to finalize the design and details of your home. You’ll also obtain financing, double-check your choices and meet the Shawn Forth construction team members who will be working on your house.
With all the preliminaries taken care of, we begin building your new home! We’ll clear the lot, pour the foundation and frame the structure of the home. As construction progresses, we’ll walk you through the home so you can see the layout and the mechanical systems. Soon afterward the insulation and drywall will go in, followed by cabinets, flooring, trim and other interior details.
Wrapping it Up
Your new home is now nearly completed. We walk you through again to orient you to your new home. We take care of any remaining minor details and go through the home with you one more time on closing day. At the closing you get the keys and take full possession of your brand new dream home!
At Shawn Forth Homes, we care about our homes and our customers, and it shows in everything we do. We’ll check in with you at least two more times after the closing to make sure everything is to your satisfaction.
